What is with the world's fashion? I, as a Californian teenager, see labels for these four stores on pretty much every single body of every single teenager. There are those that don't follow this otherwise tasteless trend, like me, but for the most part, everyone does. And, I know this sounds like a stupid question, but WHY?
Why is good to have a million of the same labels all over you? And no one say that it is to look cool, because if everyone else does it, it is SO not that cool. So someone explain it to me please?

This Is Not Right
How many of you have seen a set like this before? (Polyvore members only.) Well this set has gotten 264 faves and pending. I think this is not right. To quote Blondemommy, a popular Polyvore member, "This is a lazy way to get faves." True that, Blondie!
Set's like this are not creative, original, or unique (Three of Polyvore's theme words). I've seen so many sets that are original and gorgeous and artistic, and they got maybe five or ten favorites because the creator wasn't too popular. People like .Juliette. make gorgeous sets but no one notices because sets like that of JP are blokig her out. Look vvvv.
Please comment on your thoughts.

What's In- Cardigans

Cardigans, cardigans, everywhere! My current obsession is, you got it, the cardigan. My favorite style is, by far, the slouchy boyfriend cardigan. Relaxed and loose-fitting, the cardigan can be paired with jeans and a simple tee, or with a denim mini skirt and a tank top for a feminine twist. The three above (all from Delia's) are a perfect example of a boyfriend cardigan.

Other styles of cardigans are dressier and slightly more feminine. Styles like the cropped cardigan (by Free People Boutique) can be paired with a floral printed sun dress and gladiator sandals for a look that says "flirt". Other semi-formal styles, like this ruffly short cardigan (By Macys) can be put together with a pencil skirt, salmon colored tank, and metallic heels for a slightly more businessy look with a timeless feminine flare.

A Trip To San Fransisco
Last night, I cam home from a four day trip to San Fransisco. Only being to San Fransisco once before, I didn't realize how exciting the city could get, but here's the thing: it's fantastic!
The city not only features Chinatown (totally norm) but it has the best of Japantown, Koreatown, etc, it even features an Italian based experience, Little Italy. Little Italy is known entirely for it's Italian styled gelatos, cool Italian fashion, and most of all, delicious Italian food.
Another entirely different thing this city offered was a major shopping experience. On my way to my hotel in Union Square, Parc55, I saw too many stores that set my fashion senses tingling.

Of course, my trip didn't last long enough for a major shopping extravaganza, but I did go to one small shop in the smaller, less visited area of San Fransisco. This store, creatively titled Wasteland, featured designer items (like L.A.M.B, Juicy Couture, etc.) for less (Think Juicy Couture velour baby blue hoodie for $15!). In one short hour, with help by my personal shopper, I bought six new sweaters for a total cost of $75.
San Fransisco also offers delicious food. Shalimar, a tiny Indian/Pakistani style restaurant was my daily lunch pick. It delivered home-style food in a friednly atmosphere. The windows boasted posters labeling Shalimar "The #1 San Fransiscan restaurant of the year in 2007". I know why! The ever popular, Rainforest Cafe was also a great pick, offering three stories of jungle cuisine and divine aventure. With vine covered ceilings and walls, a large two-story waterflall, and robotic animals in every direction, the atmosphere itself was a wonder.
However, my favorite eat in San Fransisco had to be a certain square near the sea side....Ghirardelli Square! The large square was crowded with people, couples, families, children, friends, everyone, in a rush to get a taste of the delicious chocolate. I, myself, had the luck to sip on a Chocolate thick shake, a Ghirardelli Square, best seller. The actual dessert cafe had two stories of chocolate lovers, a divine candy shop, and a section devoted to making pure chocolate before your eyes! Yumm!

What's In- Pregnancy...Wait, What???
Guess what's hitting the Hollywood Hot List now? You got it. Pregnancy. The big word that pretty much determines the rest of a girls life. Yes, even if you have an abortion.
Ever since younng Jamie Lynn Spears (age 16) released her pregnancy scandal, it's really become clear. Pregnancy is everywhere. Following 06's trend of dogs as accesories, booming babies has been the new attention tool. Many sources say that they knew something like this would happen to Jamie, considering how Britney turned out. Some sources even say that young Jamie Lynn is soon to be married.
When you think about it, mostly all of the latest news in the celebrity world has involved babies or pregnancy. Angeline Jolie is now a mother of five, Jodie Sweetin (yes, little Stephanie of Full House) had her first baby, Paris Hilton was spotted with a baby bump, and, with her sister trailing behind her, Britney Spears renewing her custody to her very famous children. But now, the Hollywood trend is falling into the normal world, where teens are getting pregnant on purpose.
According to Cosmo!Girl's July/August issue (featuring young Vanessa Hudgens), "Teens see how glamorous pregnant celebrities are made out to be, and how much attention they and there babies are getting, and some girls start to think a baby will bring similar results to them."
But the real question is: Do they want a baby? I mean, actually want it. 78% of girls actually say no. It's the glamour and hype they are most likely after.

The Secret Life Of The American Teenager
Hey yall! It's Feefs. I just turned off my tv from ABC Family's "The Secret Life Of The American Teenager". The show is about a "band geek", Amy, who secretly had sex with a bad boy band member, Ricky over summer at band camp. Now, Amy's pregnant and worried as ever. Ricky is taunting her now and wants to get back together, but now Amy is falling for a sweet new guy, Ben. And Ricky is also being taunted by Adriene, who was originally going out with him but had sex with Jack, a Christian football player who was
desparate for sex, ever sunce his Christian girlfriend,Grace, got a "TrueLoveWaits" ring and told him she wouldn't do it with him until they were married. Adrien and Jack got caught kissing at Grace's party and nw there is a huge conflict between Grace and Jack, as well as between Ricky and Adrien.
Oooh, lets see what happens next, the rumors say:
* Amy's father is leaving there family (My suspicion is for Grace's mom, who he supposedly used to be married to.)
* Amy reveals to her punk 8th grade sister, Ashley, that she is pregnant.
* Ricky and Adrien supposedly get back together through a juicy kiss.
* Grace and her parents get in a conflict over Jack being part of Grace's love life.

The Mask Of Fashion
Have you ever judged someone based on what they were wearing? All black means their a goth right? A frilly top and heels inststantly has someone stereotyped as a priss, no?
Well, I'm not about to tell you that's not true. I have to consider myself as a stereotypist. I admit it- I judge people by there clothes.
I remember a certain day in May. I was going to this concert by a Christian band, Kokua. Since the scene there is either total prep or total punk, I changed my look by the day. That day I was totally decked out in a black skull tank (http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/product_zoom_display4.jsp), black mini shorts, and a black punk hoodie. This led my sisters best friend, Briana to think I was going emo. It was a little surprising to me considering I knew her for 2 years, and one outfit makes her think I was depressed? It was really quite funny.
I don't really know where I'm going with this, I just thought it was really funny but still kind of strange...that's it for now! See ya!
